China denies 'secret police stations' after New York man guilty plea
There are no so-called "secret police stations", China's foreign ministry said on Thursday, after a New York resident who prosecutors say operated such a station pleaded guilty to conspiring to act as an unregistered foreign agent.
China is a country with rule of law and has always strictly abided by international law and respected the judicial sovereignity of all countries, ministry spokesperson Lin Jian told a press briefing.
