As part of the effort to evaluate and compare the quality of higher education institutions globally, the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2024 have been released. These rankings use the same 18 performance indicators as the World University Rankings but are tailored to reflect the specific attributes of universities in Asia. The indicators cover various aspects, including teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.

Below are the top 10 universities in the Asia:

Tsinghua University (China)

Tsinghua University, located in Beijing, takes the top spot with a score of 92.8%. Established in 1911 on the historic grounds of the former Qing Dynasty imperial gardens, Tsinghua University seamlessly integrates ancient traditions with modern advancements. Known for its rigorous academic standards and global outlook, Tsinghua is dedicated to developing future leaders and innovative solutions to global challenges.

Peking University (China)

Following closely is Peking University, with a score of 92.6%. Founded in 1898, Peking University is a member of the C9 League comparable to the Ivy League in the United States.
