Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa launches campaign ahead of February polls: Video
Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa officially launched his electoral campaign with a grand caravan in Guayaquil as he prepares for the February 9 elections.
Taking a temporary leave from office, Noboa addressed supporters, highlighting his administration's achievements and calling for continued efforts to secure victory.
“We have improved security and restored hope for every Ecuadorian,” Noboa said. “Today, as we walk the streets, people feel supported; they know they have a president who fights for them every single day," he added.
The president urged his supporters to remain steadfast, emphasising the importance of the coming weeks. “Let’s keep fighting; we’re almost there. Four weeks remain to reach out and convince the undecided. We must stand against the criminals trying to obstruct us—from the energy sector to our neighbourhoods. They want to disrupt the police and trouble our armed forces, but we won’t allow it.”
Noboa’s campaign focuses on addressing security challenges and strengthening public trust ahead of the upcoming elections.
