Thai police have arrested four foreign men and three Thai nationals for producing and selling pornography in Thailand.

The arrests took place on Sunday in Bangkok, Chon Buri, and at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Police allege that the group used Thailand as a base to create sex videos, working with Thai women and popular local online creators. These videos were then sold worldwide online.

The foreign suspects include men from Britain, Russia, Germany, and Serbia, while the Thai suspects are aged between 26 and 36. Police said most of the suspects admitted to the charges.

Some videos involving minors were found with one of the suspects, according to Pol Col Pattanapong Sripinproh, who led the arrest team.

Pol Maj Gen Sarut Kwaengsopha, head of the Anti-Trafficking in People Division, said the crackdown is part of a wider effort to stop the production of illegal content in Thailand.

Meanwhile, investigations are still ongoing to uncover more details about the operation.
