Gonzalez Urrutia and Argentina's Milei greet thousands in Buenos Aires: Video
Exiled Venezuelan opposition leader Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia stood alongside Argentina's President Javier Milei on the balcony of Buenos Aires' Casa Rosada government palace, marking the start of a regional tour to rally international backing.
Gonzalez Urrutia, regarded by Venezuela's opposition as the rightful president-elect, seeks to solidify global support for his leadership claim amidst the political crisis in his home country.
"What I hope for on January 10 is that Edmundo Gonzalez will be our confirmed president," said Yanaudis Soto, a Venezuelan living in Argentina for the past six years, expressing the hope shared by many exiled Venezuelans.
