Israeli media reports a tense meeting between representatives of families of Israelis abducted during the October 7th attack by Hamas and Benjamin Netanyahu, along with other members of the Israeli war cabinet.

Kan channel, Israel TV12, and 13 channels have reported on the meeting held on December 5th at the headquarters of the Israeli Army and the Ministry of Defense.

Simultaneously, The Guardian, referencing audio files from the meeting, stated that some participants called for the Prime Minister's resignation.

Nearly all families recorded verbal conflicts during the meeting, with footage broadcast on Israeli TV channels showing families demanding a deal with Hamas to prevent further harm to abductees.

Some ministers and officials reportedly covered their faces during the emotional scenes. Netanyahu acknowledged the difficulty of releasing all hostages at once, blaming Hamas for violating the ceasefire deal.

In a subsequent press conference, Netanyahu, Yoav Galant, and Benny Gantz emphasized the priority of securing the release of the kidnapped.

Netanyahu publicly disclosed instances of violence and rape against kidnapped women by Hamas.

The families' headquarters in Tel Aviv, following a meeting with the war cabinet, expressed concern about the deteriorating condition of the remaining abductees, emphasizing the responsibility for their safe return.

Currently, 138 individuals are in Hamas captivity, including 11 foreign workers. Of the 127 Israeli citizens, 15 are women and two are children, with four to six also holding American citizenship.
