Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba said the importance of relations between Japan, South Korea and the United States will not change, South Korea's foreign ministry said on Friday.

Ishiba met South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul in Tokyo ahead of a three-way foreign ministers' meeting between South Korea, Japan and China.
