Magnitude 6.7 earthquake strikes off coast of Papua New Guinea, USGS says

A magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck off the coast of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake was at a depth of 52 km (32 miles), USGS added.
