Ex-Thai PM reacts after court verdict: Video

Thailand’s ousted prime minister, Srettha Thavisin has reacted to the verdict of the country’s Constitutional Court.
The court removed Thavisin from office over the appointment of a Cabinet member who had been previously jailed in connection with allegations of the attempted bribery of a court official.
The court described it as an ethical violation and removed him from office after a 5-4 vote.
The Cabinet will remain in charge on a caretaker basis until Parliament approves a new prime minister. They are responsible for dissolving Parliament and calling a new election.
The court’s order comes after an earlier order for a dissolution of the main opposition party a week ago.
