Robots showcase human skills at Beijing expo: Video

The 2024 World Robot Conference opened in Beijing, drawing thousands of visitors, including many young families, eager to see the latest advancements in robotics.

The event showcased a variety of robots performing tasks from calligraphy to football.

Zhao Xin, who brought her son to the conference, told AFP, "I don't think we need to be worried... They (robots) must be controlled and built by humans." 

"I think the ability of these robots to solve problems is getting stronger and stronger. The controls and movements are also smoother," another attendee said.
