Ukraine says Russian-occupied regions contain $350 billion worth of vital resources: Video

According to Ukrainian authorities, Ukraine's critical resources, valued at around $350 billion, are currently under Russian control. This significant amount includes vital minerals such as lithium, titanium, and rare earth elements, which are essential for various industries, including aerospace, defence, and renewable energy. As the United States seeks to secure preferential access to Ukraine's resource base, the Ukrainian government is looking for ways to safeguard its interests. "We have information that, unfortunately, there is about $350 billion worth of these useful critical materials in temporarily occupied territory," Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko told a news conference in Kyiv.
