The Washington Post- Hamas-Israel war poses unprecedented challenges to White House officials and Joe Biden's team ahead of the American presidential election next year.

In advance of next year's US presidential election, The Washington Post published an article detailing the difficulties facing White House officials as a result of the Hamas-Israel conflict, as well as the extraordinary worries it is giving Joe Biden's team.

During a meeting with White House staffers, key questions were raised regarding the administration's strategy to limit civilian casualties in Gaza, the intended message, and the post-war vision for the region.

Biden's advisers emphasized caution in publicly criticizing Israel, preferring behind-the-scenes influence, and expressed a commitment to defending the two-state solution after the conflict.

The report suggests a division within the White House on handling the foreign policy crisis, marking it as the biggest challenge of the Biden presidency so far.

Senior U.S. officials are concerned about the potential political and diplomatic damage if the conflict continues, especially if it extends into the presidential election campaign next year.
