Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, arriving at a summit of EU leaders in Brussels on Thursday, said unity between the EU and United States was necessary to bring peace to Ukraine.
"For us, it's very important, especially from the very beginning of next year, we need very much unity between the United States and EU and countries of Europe," Zelenskiy said.
"We need this unity to achieve peace. I think only together – the United States and Europe – can really stop Putin and save Ukraine."
Protection of Ukraine's energy sector, an increase in Ukraine's arms production and urgent help for the education system will be on the agenda during the visit, Zelenskiy added.
