Boko Haram no longer has sanctuary in Chad, says army official

Director of Communication for the Chadian Army, Brigadier General Chanane Issakha Acheikh, has declared that Boko Haram no longer has any sanctuary on Chadian territory.
General Acheikh emphasised that most soldiers wounded in recent operations have recovered and rejoined their respective units, Al Wihda reports.
In response to the recent military campaigns, the security system has been reorganized, with troop positions reinforced both in numbers and resources.
According to the general, coordinated air and land operations successfully targeted and dismantled Boko Haram’s front lines and rear bases, significantly bolstering national security.
The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces expressed his gratitude to the Chadian people for their unwavering support of the National Army and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Marshal of Chad. He also extended his appreciation to individuals and institutions that contributed to the Defense and Security Forces during this critical operation.
