Bolsonaro hospitalised with abdominal pain, condition stable: Video

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been hospitalized with severe abdominal pain but is in stable condition, according to doctors.
The 70-year-old politician, who is attempting a political comeback while facing criminal charges, fell ill during a political event in Rio Grande do Norte.
A senior official from his Liberal Party said Bolsonaro experienced "unbearable abdominal pain."
Medical Director of the Rio Grande Hospital, Luiz Roberto Leite Fonseca, told the media that "Mr. Jair Bolsonaro is hospitalised with stable vital signs, receiving intravenous hydration, antibacterial prophylaxis, and undergoing additional laboratory tests. Imaging tests with contrast are scheduled for a better assessment of his clinical condition. These tests are currently being conducted."
The incident comes six years after he was seriously injured in a stabbing attack during his 2018 presidential campaign.
