Gabonese wins Forbes Africa Financier of the Year
A Gabonese national Henri-Claude Oyima has been awarded the 2023 Financier of the Year prize by Forbes Africa.
The CEO of leading banking group in Central Africa, BGFIBank emerged winner in the category during the first edition of the “Forbes Africa Apartés” award held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The event which happened on December 14 aims to acknowledge the achievements of outstanding business leaders on the continent on an annual basis.
According to local media outlet, Gabon Review, the Forbes Africa winner is also the Chairman of the the Board of Directors of the Central African Securities Exchange. (BVMAC).
He also plays a key role in the transition underway in Gabon.
