Hundreds gathered on the outskirts of Yangon for a traditional bull-taming festival, where participants attempted to control bulls adorned with towels on their horns, believed to bring good fortune. "We think these towels symbolise luck for the economy, social stability, and health," said local resident Mardi Par.
