Liberia’s president, port authority head save young man living with kidney failure
Liberia’s President George Weah has earned the admiration of many with a heartening gesture of benevolence towards a kidney failure survivor.
The young man, Momolu Kroma, who is an orphan having lost both of his parents was battling for his life and had to be admitted at a hospital in Monrovia.
The 22-year-old could barely breathe and was at the verge of death, according to Front Page Africa.
The timely intervention of prominent personalities like President George Weah and the Managing Director of the National Port Authority, Diana Nebo saved his life.
These personalities provided financial resources and necessary support to ensure the complete recovery of Kroma.
According to Front Page Africa, Nebo explained that the rationale behind her generosity was her drive for humanitarian work and genuine concern for the welfare of her fellow citizens.
Following his recovery, Kroma visited the office of the Managing Director of the National Port Authority to express his gratitude for the support he had received.
