Macron calls Israeli air strike on Lebanon a 'violation of ceasefire': Video

French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday called a reported Israeli air strike on Lebanon "unacceptable", saying it was a "violation of the ceasefire" agreed in November.
Such attacks "play into the hands of Hezbollah," Macron said after a meeting with new Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, and following Lebanese official media reports of an air strike on south Beirut, the first such raid since a November ceasefire largely halted hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah.
