In a recent press conference, relatives of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza expressed their frustration over the delays in truce talks, with one family member accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of being afraid of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.

The accusation comes amid ongoing negotiations to secure the release of hostages and end the conflict.

Yotam Cohen, the brother of hostage Nimrod Cohen, voiced his concerns, stating that Netanyahu is attempting to deceive Trump into believing he is committed to reaching a deal with Hamas.

Cohen emphasised that ending the war and securing the release of all hostages is in Israel's best interest.
