New Israeli drone strike hits near Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon: Video
An Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle in the city of Sidon, southern Lebanon, near the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp on August 21.
The strike reportedly killed the passenger inside the car, according to Lebanese media reports.
Al Hadath has verified that the individual who was killed is Khalil Al Maqdah, the brother of Major General Munir Al Maqdah, a prominent figure within the Palestinian Fatah movement in the Ain al-Hilweh camp.
As reported by AFP, first responders quickly arrived at the scene, working to extinguish the flames engulfing the car.
This recent strike occurs just weeks after Israel launched another deadly drone raid in Sidon on August 9, which killed Hamas official Samer al-Hajj.
