New Orleans mass killer claimed ISIS allegiance, FBI says: Video
The FBI revealed that the New Orleans truck-ramming attacker, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, had posted videos online expressing support for ISIS. According to FBI deputy assistant director Christopher Raia, Jabbar traveled from Houston to New Orleans on the evening of December 31 and shared several videos proclaiming his allegiance to the group. In one video, Jabbar stated that he initially intended to harm his family and friends but chose instead to focus on a larger narrative, fearing the media would overlook the "war between the believers and the disbelievers."
