The Philippines has set a new world record with a unique hotel shaped like a chicken.

The huge building measures 34.931 metres (about 115 feet) tall, 12.127 metres (almost 40 feet) wide, and stretches about 28.172 metres (about 92 feet) long.

It is located in Campuestohan, Negros Occidental and has 15 luxury rooms and other amenities.

The Guinness World Record (GWR) confirmed it as “the world’s largest building shaped like a chicken”.

Ricardo Cano Gwapo Tan, the resort owner, said he wanted to “create the unthinkable.

According to him, he chose the rooster design because of its strong and commanding yet calm outlook that reflects the spirit of the people of the community.

“I had a vision to make something with a wow factor that can leave a footprint of admiration to the public,” he told GWR.

GWR shared images of the hotel on Instagram, describing it as a “quirky hotel located in Negros Occidental, Philippines.”
