Sean 'Diddy' Combs 'to fight to the end', says rapper's lawyer

Sean "Diddy" Combs has pleaded not guilty to racketeering and sex trafficking charges following his arrest by federal agents in New York.

The 54-year-old music mogul appeared in a Manhattan courtroom, where he was ordered to remain in custody until his trial.

The indictment accuses Combs of engaging in decades of sexual abuse and operating a "criminal enterprise" involved in serious crimes, including sex trafficking and forced labour. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams noted that Combs is currently the only individual indicted, but the investigation is ongoing.

According to the charges, Combs allegedly coerced women to participate in "Freak Offs," extended sexual performances with male sex workers that were often filmed and involved narcotics.

The judge denied a request for bail, citing concerns about potential witness intimidation.

Combs's legal issues escalated after singer Cassie filed a lawsuit alleging years of coercive abuse, including rape. Although that case was settled, it led to further allegations against him.
