• Coach for Tanzania’s national team, Adel Amrouche will not be acting in his role in the team’s next 8 matches after a suspension by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) disciplinary committee.
• The coach was suspended after the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (RMFF) submitted a complaint to CAF citing the coach for making insulting remarks about the Moroccan team after a 3-0 win by Tanzania in their opening game in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) games.
• Amrouche had alleged that Morocco was influencing the appointment of referees because of its power in African football.
