This board game lets you decide Taiwan’s fate—Even if it means nuking Taipei

In the board game 2045, players simulate a Chinese invasion of Taiwan—choosing to fight, collaborate, or even drop a nuclear bomb.
Launched by Mizo Games, 2045 raised over NT$4 million ($122,160) in crowdfunding and consulted military experts to ensure realism.
Taiwan loses the game if a significant number of important cities on the island are taken by China's People's Liberation Army (PLA).
According to Chang Shao-lian, founder of Mizo Games, 2045 was not like its earlier war games, where players had to work together to win.
“We're talking about a landing war in Taiwan, but we actually have a little moderation to get out of the middle line and say, okay, we're going to have this happen now. And whether Taiwan wins or Taiwan loses the war, there will be a winner,” Chang told AFP.
