Top 20 strongest passports in the Global South

Singapore now has the strongest passport in the world, according to a new passport index.
The Henley Passport Index compiles this list based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA).
The index includes 199 different passports and 227 different travel destinations.
With monthly updates, the Henley Passport Index is considered the standard reference tool for global citizens and sovereign states when assessing where a passport ranks on the global mobility spectrum.
According to the latest report, Singapore leads globally with visa-free access to 195 destinations, while neighbouring Malaysia ranks 11th with access to 181 countries
In Latin America, Chile and Argentina score highly, ranked 14th and 16th respectively with visa-free access to 176 and 170 destinations
Brazil shares 16th place, and Mexico is positioned 22nd with access to 158 destinations
Other Global South nations in the top 20 include Seychelles (24th), St Vincent and the Grenadines (24th), and St Kitts and Nevis (25th).
Globally, the top five passports belong to Singapore, Japan, Finland, Denmark, and France, offering access to 195, 193, 192, 191, and 189 destinations respectively.
