Trump publishes footage of US attack on alleged Venezuelan drug boat: Video
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday, September 15, that American forces under U.S. Southern Command had carried out a second strike on what he described as a Venezuelan vessel transporting narcotics.
The announcement was made on Trump’s Truth Social platform, where he also released footage showing a boat being targeted before an explosion, with flames and smoke rising afterwards. The exact location of the footage could not be independently verified.
“This morning, on my orders, U.S. Military Forces conducted a SECOND kinetic strike against positively identified, extraordinarily violent drug trafficking cartels and narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility,” Trump wrote.
