Displaced Gazans, jamming a coastal road after Israeli forces blocked them from returning to the territory's north, react with defiance to a plan floated by US President Donald Trump to "clean out" Gaza, by relocating Palestinians to Egypt and Jordan.

"The idea of us leaving our country and abandoning it to the Jews [Israelis], it's absolutely impossible," says Nafiz Halawa, displaced from Al-Shati camp.
